Daniel Jarrett DMD, MS
Dr. Dan spent part of his early childhood in Darien, so returning to the community as the owner and orthodontist at Darien Orthodontics feels a little like coming home. Before opening the practice, he spent years caring for patients throughout the greater New York Metro area and along the Connecticut coast, building the clinical experience and perspective he brings to each patient today.
Patients often describe Dr. Dan as approachable, thorough, and easy to talk to. He believes great orthodontic care starts with taking the time to listen, answer questions, and make sure patients and parents understand their options and feel comfortable with the plan ahead. His goal is to pair clinical expertise with a personal, down-to-earth approach that makes orthodontic treatment feel a little easier from the very beginning.
His Approach to Orthodontic Care
For Dr. Dan, great orthodontic care is personal. He values getting to know his patients, understanding what matters to them, and being directly involved in the decisions that shape their treatment. That philosophy is one of the reasons he chose to build Darien Orthodontics as a one-doctor practice, where he can develop meaningful relationships with patients and families while maintaining personal responsibility for their care.
He also believes that knowing when and how to treat is just as important as the treatment itself. Rather than rushing to get started, Dr. Dan takes the time to evaluate each patient’s individual needs, growth and development, goals, and lifestyle before recommending a path forward. There is no one-size-fits-all approach. Treatment is planned around the individual patient and what will best support a healthy, confident smile.
Education
Dr. Dan pursued his dental education at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, IL, and earned his orthodontic certificate and master's degree in oral biology from UNLV.
